sefton.jpgCNC Programmer – SolidCam
The qualified individual will be able to plan, organize and formulate programs for HAAS CNC machining centers.
Develop sequences, tooling arrangements and settings, speeds and feeds in accordance with materials to be machined, type of machine and capacities. Observe machine prove-out, when required, to check accuracy of the program. Assist with the analysis of processes with the objective of reducing the cost of manufacturing without impairment of product quality and reliability.

Qualifications:
Must be able to program 3 and 4 axis mills and complex fixtures.
Must be able to program 3D using High Speed Milling Techniques.
Must be able to work with tight tolerances, one offs and short runs.
Individual must be self-motivated with good time management skills.

Education and Experience:
Certificate of Qualification as a General Machinist or equivalent.
Must have 5 years SolidCam experience, version 12 would be an asset.
Must have 5 years hands on CNC machine shop experience.
Must have 5 years programming experience.
Must be proficient with 3D modeling / programming.

CAD.jpgSoftware Engineer
Your primary responsibility is to design and develop automation control systems using your knowledge of PLC’s, HMI’s, motion control, robotics, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics. As the system programmer you will also play a key role in the test & debug as well as the installation & commissioning of our custom automation machines to our clients located around the globe.

You must have experience with AB ControlLogix platform including motion control using AB servos. Other experience that would be an asset in this position include: proficiency in other computing languages, low level hardware development, analog and digital signal processing and the set-up and programming of machine vision systems including blob analysis.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Engineering degree (Computer Science) or Diploma with 2 to 5 years of experience

Senior Mechanical Automation Designer
Your primary responsibility entails the concept development and design of automated equipment through the leadership of a multi-disciplinary team. Starting with a blank sheet you have the ability to conceptualize a solution for our customers and ultimately deliver a complete working machine in a six to twelve month time frame. You have the skills and experience to conceptualize new ideas while still being conscious of fits and tolerances in the detail design. You are passionate about seeing your ideas being built. Excellent communication skills are a necessity in this role to work with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Must be flexible and open minded to new ideas and concepts.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree or Diploma with 10 plus years of experience designing custom machines, preferably using Solidworks.

Mechanical Automation Engineer
Your primary responsibility entails carrying out the detail design and engineering analysis of electro-mechanical systems. These systems must not only meet the customer’s objectives but are designed for manufacturing in a cost effective manner. You are passionate about seeing your ideas being built. Excellent communication skills are a necessity in this role to work with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Must be flexible and open minded to new ideas and concepts.

Experience that would be an asset in this position include: designing and testing of pneumatic actuated systems, designing for manufacturability, knowledge of machine shop and fab shop practices, tolerance stack-up and material selection.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree or Diploma with 3 to 10 years of experience designing custom machines, preferably using Solidworks.

Jr. Electrical Technologist/Technician
Electrical Technologists/Technician with at least 2 yrs experience in reading schematic’s and wiring control panel’s for custom automated machines. Duties include wiring, commissioning and installing of control systems including PLCs, electrical components, motors, sensors, and HMI's. A working knowledge of PLC trouble shooting, conduit wiring and good mechanical aptitude would be an asset.

Education and Experience:
Diploma from a Technologist program in Instrumentation/Automation Control or equivalent.
